ABOUT GROUP 12
Group 12 is a young and exciting family group based in Ealing. The group supports children and families in the North West London region by offering 5 to 6 children the experience of travelling to Lourdes as part of the HCPT Easter trip. Group 12 incorporates both experienced helpers (some with over 30 years’ experience!) and enthusiastic younger helpers. Many of the helpers are medical or educational professionals. Our priority is to give an enjoyable and safe holiday to the children.Although the HCPT charities roots are with the Catholic faith, children, volunteers and beneficiaries come from all walks of life and from different faiths or none. It is open to all.
DID YOU KNOW?
The founder of Group 12, Maurice Sauven, was awarded the 'Freedom of the City of Lourdes' along with two other HCPT trustees for their efforts in setting up the charity in the 1950s!
This is an immense honour for Group 12 and HCPT!
About HCPT
Life Changing Pilgrimage Holidays
Our group is part of the wider HCPT family which encompasses hundreds of groups from the UK and further afield. Every Easter around 1,000 disabled and disadvantaged children and young people enjoy a fun and safe week in Lourdes, staying in hotels with their volunteer helpers. HCPT is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults. All volunteer helpers and staff are aware of the safeguarding policies and undergo training to share this commitment. Our priority is to give an enjoyable and safe holiday to the children.
